M1025 HMMWV (Humvee) Up-Armored Armament/Troop Carrier. Easy-assembly kit is in a claimed 1:24 scale, but is actually a rather odd 1:27 or 1:28 scale. Pre-painted die cast body is made of metal and most parts screw or snap together. Minimal gluing and no painting are required. This model is in the Testors Limited Edition "Silver Series" of metal body model kits. The M1025 is the up-armored, turtle back version of the HMMWV and has a turret in the top for a machine gun or recoilless rifle. The model has incredible detail with front radiator guard, turret-mounted machine gun, fording kit for air intake and exhaust, whip antenna, mirrors, central inflatable run-flat tires, detailed under carriage, etc. Front doors open. Produced for Testors by Maisto. Comes with detailed assembly instructions. Testors model no. 440010.

This die cast model kit is BRAND NEW in the original package, never opened. Retailers sell this somewhat scarce vintage kit for $19.95 and up when it is available. The PHOTOS of the finished vehicles are this kit as built by other model-builders.
